As a direct result of an internal promotion due to our expanding business we are pleased to offer an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Manager to take responsibility of our rapidly expanding Surgical Ophthalmology term.
Located in our Head Office in North Ryde and reporting to the Medical Division Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing sales strategies to spearhead profitable growth of our IOL and viscoelastic product portfolio.
You will be responsible for managing the achievement of annual revenue and profit goals by leading, motivating and coaching an established group of sales professionals. Working closely with the Sales Division Manager and Product Manager you will have input in planning and budgeting with a primary thrust in developing and driving sales and marketing strategies, budget considerations, pricing policies, promotional programs, territory configurations and future products.
In additional to strong influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills combined with a proven medical sales management tract record, to be successful for this role you will require:
- 10+ years relevant industry experience coupled with University Business degree
- Minimum 4 years senior management experience
- Ability to strategically analyze market environments and construct detailed short and mid term plans to maximize EBIT performance
- High levels of computer literacy
- Formal management training desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

As a direct result of our expanding business we are seeking an enthusiastic and talented graphic and web designer who has strong corporate branding experience, as well as a keen interest in marketing to join our dynamic Marketing Communications Department.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Communications Manager, the successful applicant’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work from concept through to final production on corporate and consumer marketing materials, such as print and online advertisement, collateral, signage, POS and eCommunications;
- Design, develop and maintain Carl Zeiss websites;
- Build and maintain the marketing portfolio;
- Liaise with third party suppliers;
- Conduct day to day administrative duties as required.
