| Launch of Stratus OCT Software Ver. 6.0 |

This month sees the launch of the next revision software for the Stratus OCT; the long-serving standard of care in OCT. The changes include:
Anterior chamber imaging
Software Ver. 6.0 adds new scan patterns and analyses to enable you to image the cornea (including central corneal thickness measurement) and the anterior chamber angle. This utilises the already optimised internal ZEISS optics and does not require any additional hardware to be purchased.
Multi-slice report
This new report allows the user to have multiple slices from the current visit next to the same slices from a previous visit. This allows for direct side-by-side qualitative comparison and will be useful for such things as monitoring Lucentis® patients.
General maintenance upgrade
Responding to the feedback from the many users of the Stratus OCT, Carl Zeiss has made changes to the user interface. Some of these changes are:
- Enhanced Repeat Scan functionality and inclusion of a Repeat button on the Scan Tab.
- Optic Nerve Head Analysis screen and printout are simplified, with key measurements organised in one simple table.
- Re-ordering of the scan icons to show the more commonly used scans first on the list.
- Compatible with Windows® Vista (32 bit) for review stations.
