Information Management Solutions Specialist, Technical Support

As a direct result of our expanding business we are currently looking to fill the newly created Technical support position of Information Management Solutions Specialist.

This new role will require the successful candidate to install, integrate and support our internally developed FORUM application suite provided by the Carl Zeiss Medical Division.

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Service Manager, they will be responsible for overall project management, installation and training of integration software projects as well as provide first and second level help desk support to our customers. Additionally this role will involve liaising with the software development team regarding technical issues and providing recommendations for future software releases.

The role also includes a sales function to uncover opportunities within our existing installed base to convert these customers to a paperless environment via our FORUM software platform.

This position would be suitable for someone that has existing experience within a 1st and 2nd level support role, and must possess strong organisational and communication skills.
There will be some requirements to work outside normal business hours to provide support to customers requiring data migration, maintenance and upgrades in non-essential times.

Essential Skills
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Support
  • Windows XP, Windows 7 Support
  • Database Management, Administration, SQL queries
  • Infrastructure hardware knowledge, servers, desktop, storage, LAN
  • TCP/IP networking
  • 2 Years + experience in providing 1st, 2nd level support
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written and communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • NSW drivers licence
Technical skills particularly advantageous
  • MYSQL
  • Interbase
  • Dicom software solutions

Service Engineer

Due to the continued growth of our business, we are expanding our service delivery in West Australia. As a result we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to join our West Australia Service Team.

Within this role you will be required to take ownership of the service process, create new business opportunities and most importantly, deliver a consistent high level of customer service.

As a strong fault finder on capital equipment, you will also demonstrate logical approaches to problem solving and be committed to exceed customer expectations.

To be successful in this role, formal qualifications in an electronic field and previous experience in servicing of precision equipment is required, with knowledge in the biomedical field highly regarded. While a strong awareness in PC supported instrument diagnostics would be an advantage, a high level of computer literacy is essential.
